REV. HENRY ROBERTSON

"The Man Who Loved Souls"

You will read stories of gun battles, visitations by angels, healings, miracles, lost life, supernatural visions, self-sacrifice,
great suffering and true love.
You will also read how one man was instrumental in establishing an uncommon 80 churches
in his own lifetime, much of it in tough circumstances, such as the Great Depression. Also in dangerous locations,  such as
the hills of Kentucky, where people would just as soon kill you than to look at you.

You will also read poor English grammar and spelling at times. Why?  The author says, “I’m leaving
it in his own words, so you can get to know the real man who lived this life.  Please don’t let this distract you, but try to
see past the way it’s written, to the heart of the message.  God will use a willing vessel, highly educated or not.
This I know, because he’s using me.”

There is a special section in the back of the book where many people have left comments of their encounters with Rev.
Henry Robertson, that will make you laugh from his humorous antics with them and also cry, because of his
great understanding and love for people.

Looking at him and his circumstances in life, you would never have imagined that his life would be so impactful to so many
throughout his 50+ years of ministry.
Rev. Henry Robertson did not allow his lack of education, stature, or wealth to stop
him from fulfilling God’s destiny in his life and he would want the readers of this book to know that they have the same
opportunity in their own life.  All God requires is a servant’s heart.

He treated everyone the same.  It did not matter if you were wealthy or the poorest of the poor.  He did not change who he
was for anyone.  And interestingly enough, his bibbed overalls, bald head, toothless grin and aggressive preaching, didn't
keep people from embracing his message of faith, hope and love either.

He shared with countless Men and Women of God throughout his 50+ years in the ministry this statement, “There’s a whole
lot to do for God as long as you don’t care who gets the credit
.”  This is the type of man you will read of.

He taught his family the value of living a life poured out for Jesus.  He and his wife Lottie, were not fixated on the pleasures
or trinkets of this world, but on the truth of God’s Word.
They are now God’s buried treasures and they wouldn’t have done
it any other way.

Certainly these stories will bring inspiration that you can accomplish anything you set your mind to and give great insight into
how he earned this title among his peers.
The author says, "As you read and walk in his steps, reliving his past, I am confident,
you will forever be changed.  God has anointed every page of this little book, because the price that was paid to live this life was great!"

Exact KJV quote is:  “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men: and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
For ye see your calling,
brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble,
are called:  But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things
of the world to confound the things which are mighty
; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath
God chosen, yeah, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.”
